On Gain

“No pains, no gains” is a old saying which tells us that people need to make great effort usually going through pains to gain something. To gain something is not as simple as to pick up a piece of paper. You need to study hard to gain good results in the examinations, to practice hard in order to gain medals in the match, to work hard to gain other’s praise. None of these is easy to do. So in order to gain something, you need to give something first. Or to put it another way, you must sacrifice something. Never even think of good things will always be there waiting for the reach of your hands. Those who want to gain good things without making any effort, must starve to die in the end. Think of it, and do not be the man who is starved to die at last.
